Trackside Restaurant & Bourbon Bar LLC (at the Paris Train Depot)

My friends called in a panic because they had not made reservations on the weekend of their daughters graduation from UK and finding a restaurant in Lexington was just not happening for a total group of 16 people. My wife and I checked OpenTable and were able to get 2 reservations booked for 8 people each - with the intent that we were going to call the restaurant the next morning and make sure this was all OK. We realized it was a longshot given the short timing and how busy everything was for the weekend. Much to our very pleasant surprise, Trackside was able to accommodate us! I spoke with who I believe was the manager on the phone and she was SO helpful and nice. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. Our server was excellent and the food was amazing. Hot Browns and fried chicken livers were a massive HIT!!! Best of all, the atmosphere was quiet and the entire group was able to visit and talk. The entire group was SO happy with everything and we all plan to return again and again. Thank you SO much for such an amazing experience!

What a really cool unique place to eat!! Great food and service. Ate at 2pm on a Thursday. The Hot Brown was outstanding! Really neat place to visit and stay and take in the sites of the neat items in the restaurant. Really cool bar as well!

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere in a building that dates back almost 150 years and meticulously restored. Be sure and pick up the pamphlet that talks about the history of the building and the current owners. We stopped in during a road trip after consulting Google Maps for a place to eat dinner. Glad we found this place. We found the food was very flavorful with several items you don’t always see at other restaurants. The pretzel bites were a big hit although there could’ve been more to the basket and the dipping sauces added nicely to the order. Fried chicken dinner, chicken, livers dinner and large salad, all were tasty and plenty of food. I especially enjoyed the Italian style green beans and fresh baked potato. I look forward to trying the pimento dip next visit. Service was well above average and friendly. Even clean bathrooms. Fully stocked bar as well. The outside patio area was the perfect place to sit and have a relaxed meal. Too bad a train didn’t go by as we were enjoying our food. Lots of large screen TVs to allow one to relax and watch as you have a beer, bourbon or sweet tea, along with comfortable padded, bench seats. It’s a popular spot for the local crowd. They have little spinning arms for the tables to keep flies away from our food. Helped some. This restaurant is well worth going a little out of your way to visit, and I look forward to my next time in Paris Kentucky and have another wonderful meal at The Trackside Restaurant.

Unsure if this is every Sunday but when we went food was limited to pizza and appetizers. Both the wings and pizza we had were freshly made and delicious.

What a great spot. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the delicious 6 bourbon cocktails! The food was great, the service was fast and we were lucky enough to see two trains go by! Worth the stop while we were in town.

Great little place!! Atmosphere is awesome and food is amazing!!! Everyone super friendly.We had the Kentucky Hot Brown,homemade pimento cheese,and the bourbon bread pudding...all were delicious!! I would totally go here again!!

Stumbled onto this place on our drive home. It has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic pizza! Would definitely eat here again.
